08 spindle swap on an 07 m8 help please

I want to put a set of the 08 spindles on my 07 m8 for the better turning radius. Has anybody done this yet? The tie rod for the steering doesn't bolt up the same. Can I just put a set of 08 hime joints on and be done or will these spindles not work at all?

It's not just the spindles that are different. You would have to replace everything in the steering assembly from where it exits the engine bay. Not worth the trouble to get a little bit tighter turning radius IMO.

I already have the spindles bolted up and there is a major difference in turning back and forth between the 07 and 08 spindles.

You only need the tie rod ends for the 08' & up. I had this same set up on my 05' M. I also have a set of 09' spindles going on my 07' M8 as soon as my holz a-arms show up.
