08 RMK front bumper question

Hey all, been thinkin about fabricating my own aluminum bumper for my 08 rmk. I am sure this has already been discussed multiple times, but I am wondering how the aftermarket bumpers are attaching. I see how the upper mounting brackets go on but I am not sure where/how they are attaching the bottom brackets. any info would be great. thanks in advance

You will need to fabricate a bracket for the bumper to attach to the chassis.

k thanks for the great picture. how are those lower brackets connected to the bulk head? welded? screwed? I can use the holes on the top to mount the top bracket but there were no holes that could be used for the bottom.

There are two bolts/nuts behind that plastic cover plate (take a look at your sled you'll see them there). You can just bearly see the nuts right behind the bolts where the bumper is mounted to the bracket.

They are the bolts that hold the A-Arms on.. with a bracket that also has a stud coming out for the bumber to mount on too..
