Ok please bear with me here...the sled did live up to some of my expectations. Some it didn't. First the pros, the sled rode light and nimble, didn't feel like 550 # it weighs, I did turn the front shocks up , tight as they would go. Seemed to help the handling. It has a very easy balance point when sidehilling, skis floated well yet turned on the trail good also. Engine ran very well, smooth with plenty of power for what it is, should run better with a few hundred miles on it! Over all I liked the ride. Now for the cons, I think the sled has a terrible track with a very steep approach angle...leads to alot of trenching. I finaly figured out that if I didn't pin the throttle the sled would get on top better, quicker. I think the 4 stroke came into play here. Maybe a 151 track and move the skid back? Really don't know why Yamaha went with a 14 inch track??? Its not a deep powder sled but I knew that when I bought it, wouldn't go thru 3 feet of powder with any kind of incline. But with 50% of our snow pack around here being set up snow it should be a blast. I think its a keeper. Take it for what its worth. Dino

opus ill take the challenge :D
Beware, Petes tundy is highly moded, I think he might even be close to around 30 HP now!!! Of course you realize Pete you'll have to leave your yard to doo this challenge:eek: That would be a first in the last couple of years. Dino

it's a decent sled for what it's built for...Take it for what it is...

The biggest problem with the Phazer, was all the hype around it BEFORE it was released...
