'08 Nytro front suspenion tips

Hi!

I'm new to this forum, and can't figure out the search function.
I'm looking for some tips regarding the well known bump steer on the '08 Nytro. Is there any way to reduse it, or eliminate just by adjusting?
Also, I'm wondering where to get the external adjuster which some of you have mounted on your front air shocks. That would be a nice upgrade since I see alot of different terrain here in Spitsbergen, Norway.

Machining 2.5 mm off the face of the upper rod ends on the a-arms is suppose to help. I had mine machined.

I'm sorry that my english isn't that good. But just for being sure of what you mean.

You mean the face of which the upper rod is mounted to the spindle? Like I've arrowed in this pic?
Will this change the geometry enough to redeuce the bumpsteer?

No you machine the 2.5mm off of the shoulder of the upper ball joint, This allows the ball joint to slide farther into the a-arm. This brings the top of the spindles together adjusting the camber.

I havent done this yet but i think alot of the short track guys have.

There is a couple of threads about this on the ty4stroke forum if you want to read more.

are you talking about the fox floats?? nextech.com make an external adjuster,,i'm interested in putting them on mine but have'nt been able to get much feedback on them,,i've posted on TY

Yes, the Fox shocks.
I saw this thingys in a Norwegian Sledmagazine last year, but I havn't managed to find them again. That's untill now!!
Thanks evil1!
Now i know who makes them, and can order them from somewhere.
I don't know much about them, but if they can keep the air in, I guess the added amount of air will do nothing but good.
My main reason for getting these, are the abillity to adjust the air pressure in seconds, without needing the pump.
They're might be a bit pricey, but not compared to other makes I've seen.

Thanks again! :)

fox is doing some testing on some kits that would convert you standard floats into float evols. but they do not know if they are going to hit the market or not. Fabcraft also makes what your talking about.
