08 m8..where to drill for geomod?

So i've been doing a lot of reading on different rear skid setups for the 08 to make them transfer better. I planned on drilling the lower hole in the tunnel, however after looking at it, it appears my 08 doesn't have the lower hole inside the tunnel. So instead, I'm planning on trying the geomod. I've read alot of posts on this, but none seem to give the exact location to drill the new holes for the rear mounting point of the skid. If anyone could give me some measurements and post some pics it'd be great. Thanks in advance guys!!

the one other thing I was wondering that I didn't find in the link above was after doing it, where are setting the limiter straps? Thanks again guys.

I am wondering about this mod and the 05 M as well. I am having a hard time hooking up my sled.

I have the holz relocation bracket so really the skid is the same as the 08 just shorter shocks.

Any thought or others that have done this on the 05 skid?

The 05 skid is much different. The 08 skid is the float skid, there are no overload springs.

Mtnclimber is right. The info above is NOT for the 05/06/07 skids. However, there is a different Geomod for those skids. Unfortunately, that whole thread was on the old forum and those archives are gone. I know I printed the info out but don't know if I still have the hard copy. You might ask if anyone has it. There is a thread, M7 Tricks of the Trade, on here with a Winzip file but I didn't see the OLD Geomod info in there. Good luck. PM me if you want me to dig for the info. It might take me a while to look.
