In my riding group of mixed sled brands and sizes, my buddy has an 08 m1000. His sled is stock except for an SLP can, the rpms climbing are about 7500, and it seems to hold that quite well. When I ride this sled you can tell that it builds good power but I don't think that it is living up to it's potential. What can we do with the clutching to get it to improve the climbing ability? At this point we would like to stay away from pipes, controllers, nos etc. We are already looking into a PC 162, what else can we do?
