08 m1000 gearing

I geared my sled but the dealer did it for me... i was wondering if anyone does it them selves and how hard it is to do it has the dd reverse in it

I just did my 07 with reverse and it was pretty easy. When I first pulled the DD cover I wondered what the hell I was doing? Once I got into it it was not bad.You need to have new bearings for your gears that ride in the cover because I could not see any way to get the old bearings off. We will see how good I did when I get on the snow.
