Hey guy's I flash my machine up and it starts blinking ECU 07 and after riding it for a minute or so 07 goes away and 17 comes on solid, I know 07's an open or short circuite to the TPS and 17 is the exhaust sensor but having them come on in sequence like that and the fact that the exhaust probe is brand new (one ride on it as it was throwing code 17 before) is weird. Does anyone know if these to sensors are tied to the same circuite and possibly a broken wire or chafe is to blame and other than the machine being a hundred or two rpm short you wouldn't know anything was wrong with the sled as the low, mid and top end does not feel down in running quality. Any ideas or help would be great.

They are related and you probably have an open or short circuit in the pipe temp wiring BEFORE the sensor plugs in that is giving feedback to the ECU.
Thanks racinstation, do you know if there's a resistance check off that exhaust sensor main harness plug?
