08 M1 w/slp pipe kit/which belt

I have the sled mentioned above and I run the 60 belt. I know that you can run the 46 which is much cheaper. Which belt is the better belt? Also, I am running 85g pins and anything over 3500' it will barely pull 7000 rpms. Around 2000' it will run right around 73-7400 rpms, and it runs awesome. Will the 46 belt raise the rpms? if not, should I put in 83g pin weights? I run anywhere from 1000' up to 4800'. Mostly 2-3000'. I have the rox rollers and put in a different helix.

The 046 should increase +200 rpms, i have blown up lots of belts 046 and 060, so I don't know which is better. I have gone back to the 046 and am sticking with it.

I would shoot for 7600-7750 on trail pull and 7550-7650 on a good powder pull. Depending on your primary spring and secondary setup you may need to drop 3 to 5 grams. I'm currently running at 140/310 primary, with 80 gram light tip cat weights, 38 degree RKT helix, green spring in 2 hole. SLP pipe, Y-pipe, Ultra Q can, RKT 14-1 head, BD-x intake. I run 4500' to 7000'

I see 7700 to 7800 on trail and 7550 to 7650+ in heavy powder pulls with the 046 and 7600 to 7700 trail, 7500ish powder with the 060.

My sled seems to hook up better with the 060; however, when it gets hot the r's seems to pull down more than with the 046 belt. Plus it's hard to spend the extra coin for that darn thing.

Just remember, the reason the 046 is allowing more r's is do to its harder compound (more slipping). My opinion anyway.
