I want to update my 08 solid rotor to newer style wave/ vented rotor, ? is can I just buy the 10 style one piece hub/rotor and slide it on my shaft? if not what is the direction to go? all aftermarket units seam to be discontinued.

Actually never any aftermarket units available
Pull off the chaincase... install the new rotor.
Pretty easy.. about a couple of hours for the eaveage joe in his garage.

About $90 for the kit... plus chain lube... replace the bearings while you are at it if you have over 1500 miles...just for good measure...you never know when you will be in there again.
