08' Dragon belt question (help please)

I have an 08' dragon RMK 700cc. Went to my dealer for a new belt and he sells me part #3211080 I went home and noticed that my belt on the sled is part#3211115.
I called back the dealership and they said that the belt they sold me will work with my sled and that it is $100 cheaper than belt# 3211115

Im concerned here and thought i better ask someone on snowest....

What can you guys tell me about this? Was my dealer full of BS?

It will fit, but you will have to adjust your clutches for the change. It will also not last like the 115, it will grenade on you eventually. Ask for the 115 as a replacement.

x2 on the grenade! Get the 115 belt it will last way longer. the 080 belt is made for 600cc and smaller sleds

My edge body 700 rmk took the 080 and my 07' 700 takes the 115. Keeping the 080 around for a spare on the 07'.

Do you guys know where to by a 115 for a low price?

The 1122 has the same dimensions and angles as the 1115 and costs quite a bit less. I am sure it is not as strong as the 1115 belt but in my mind would make a much better spare that the 080. IMO

The 080 does not have the exact measurements as the 1115. Your dealer should know that.

The 115 belt is made of KEVLAR and thus the $$$ for it.

Some time I see 1115's for $125 new on Ebay/craigslist but not sure any dealership cutting a deal.
