why is my check engine light flashing 7 times soon as i fire it up ? whats comen on those to go out ? something to do with the injectors or stater not sure or ecu it sais or to low voltage or to high .if someone knows let me know thanx alot

I had this happen on my 08 D8 a year ago just after I got the engine update done. Code says "high or low voltage to fuel injector".

It turned out being the fuel injector wiring harness and the stator. Everyone I talked to said the fuel injectors themselves rarely go bad.

ya i just had mine done last year too and now this flashing but i also have a scared piston also so i need to rebuild it then fix that .did yours go in limp mode with the flashing? im told soon as there flashing it wont run right and goes into limp mode

It ran great for the first ten miles after the update, then the light came on, started to run REALLY bad, limped home.

Took it back to the dealer that did the update and they couldn't figure it out.

It wouldn't even start by the time I took it to Pierre's Polaris in Kenmore.

A big thanks to Mike Barr at Pierre's who spent alot of time on this and diagnosed the bad fuel injector harness and stator. Pierre's will get my future Polaris business.

isnt the injector harness and stator on recall to replace them on these sleds ????
