If anyone has a 2008 dragon 700 I am wondering what size weights came in the primary clutch? I just put a 700 motor in my 600 dragon and on Polaris microfiche it says it takes 10-68 weights but in my 08 service manual it says it takes 10-66 weights and I was just wondering which one is the correct size. Any info would be great.

I know you asked about the 2008 model.
However I have a 2007 D7, came with 10-64's with a DARK BLUE/white Spring,
It's possible the 66's were in the 2008, not sure, but no way 68's
Flatlander, 1200' elevation, I tried 10-66's in my D7 and 68gram MTX weights both with the stock spring and with SLP's recommended 140/340 spring, with both I lost bottom end perf, top end was the same, R.P.M.'s were down. Went back to the 10-64's

I think that mine came with 66's and I bumped them to 68,s
I have a D7 while my friend has a RMK 7, mine came with 10-60's(i changed to 10-58's) and my friends came with 10-65's(he changed to 10-60)
I have a 08' Dragon 700 RMK. Stock weights were 10-60's. I geared down from 20/41 to 19/42. Gearing down dropped my Max RPM by 300 or so. Changed to 10-58's problem fixed. Runs great.
