08 D7 plug cap

I've got a plug cap that is bad, the metal inside the cap broke. Do i have to replace the coil just to get a new plug wire and cap? I looked at it and that's what it looks like to me. I hope someone can tell me otherwise.

NGK makes a replacement spark plug cap.Used it on my 99 don't see why it wouldn't work on a newer sled.Part #TB05EMA on NGK site.$4.49 retail
