Sled is located in Sparta WI.
It does not have an intercooler installed. I built a custom intake plenum w/ BOV. I do have an intercooler for an RX-1 that I was going to modify for the project but I no longer have time for.
It does have a A/F O2 gauge but the sensor needs to be replaced. Burnt out sitting all year I guess.
Haven't noticed too much throttle lag. Again it's only running 6psi too. I have the clutching in for flat landing right now but It has a heel clicker clutch in it so removing weight isn't too hard. It also comes with stock yamaha clutching which I have riveted for 8k-10k ft (never tested though, only made per research) and some other stock clutch weights for mid range elevation.
I also have multiple heel clicker primary and secondary springs which can be set up depending on where you plan on going. (finding the setup online helps with what worked for other and adjusting from there).
at sea level 6psi is about 200-210 hp. I have to run that low to prevent detonation. At higher elevation the boost could be turned up to accommodate the lack of oxygen in the air. 200 hp is where i've been running though to prevent engine problems (detonation). Normally don't go over 5psi. But if I had ever made it to high elevation, I would have turned it up.
I ran 93 when possible. 91 I always added guaranteed octane booster.
I do have 110 turbo blue race fuel available and ran that for the majority of the time. ~1200 miles boosted - 900 had 110 (to be safe) rest had 93 or 91 w/ octane booster.
