08 600 RMK bumpers

I used to have a 08 600 rmk and now my brother is looking at getting a 08 600 too. My question is though the front bumper is different between the two. Both are stock. I have seen a few like on the one he is looking at but am curious as why some have that style but most have the style mine had. Either way it wil get the 09 conversion kit and a skinz bumper but am just curious as too the difference.

The thing is they are both 600s with 155" tracks 2.4 in lugs. Pretty much identical and I remember seeing a couple at haydays with that different bumper too.

Maybe an option when you ordered them?
