08 600(cfi) RMK Low End Bog????

I have a 08 600 RMK (the cfi one) and it is having a low end bog around 3900 rpm. It is like the engine almost totally cuts out right around that rpm and then comes back again once you get it above 3900-4000 rpm.

Anyone experience anything like this before?

Of course if it was carburated I could clean and check settings, but being cfi I don't really know what might be wrong with this thing. Exhaust valves maybe????

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks,
Ryan

bog problem

:)my 08 700 did the same thing last year , it was the hand warmers shorting out on the bars , make sure you have black electric tape between the bars and the warmers , 500 miles and not a problem , hope this helps;)

Could be that the side clearance on your belt in the primary clutch is to much, should be between 10-20 thou clearance. This is like starting your sled in second gear and can be the cause of a bog at engagement speed.

Sounds like many 09 600 CFI 2 Shifts had a low speed engine bog.
Polaris corrected by making a clutching change and a releasing a new CFI 2 re-flash.

My 09 600 CFI4 Switchback had a bad (lean) low speed engine bog at 3700 rpm from day one. In cold temps it bogged at times at 6000 rpm.

I tightened up the excessively loose throttle cable lever slop, helped some.

Had my dealer properly set the TPS voltage. TPS voltage was too high, leaned out engine, thus the lean low speed bog.

I improved engine performance even more by installing a Team Lime Green 150/340 primary spring Team number 210135-009 for $25.95 to improve low and mid range performance.
Good Luck; Rich

this may sound dumb with what you have done allready..but did you have a good look at the reeds? i had one i took apart 5 or 6 time ..then i noticed the reed was broken at the back and it would move the hole pedal as it opened .but to look it looked fine
