burned down my pto side piston saturday, have not been able to determine the cause. the base gasket was fine as were the throttle body to cylinder boots. only other thing i can think of is if one of my injectors for that cylinder failed, is there a range where bothe injectors are firing together on these things or is it only one or the other? I havent checked the oil injection jet for obstruction yet but i dont think thats it, the piston didnt seize, the skirt broke on both intake and exhaust sides, and the piston started to deteriorate around the edges, any help would be appreciated.
