Does the 09 M1000 have more power stock than the 08 M1000?

I think they are lighter by a few pounds but the hp is the same.

The 08 does not have any more power than the 09, however the 09 will outperform an 08 due to the factory upgrades. The 09 is lighter [22 lbs. if i remember right] has the tapered tunnel, and the powerclaw track [which is probably the single biggest improvement]. The 09 also has the electronic reverse which mandated a different Diamond Drive [alot lighter]. The weight of the Diamond drive is on the front of the sled which is a problem for the 1000 as they are a little nose heavy. They have the same power and if the 08 has the updates done to it they also have the same fuel map.
