Just got my 07 xrs back from the dealer, a new motor was installed all covered by warrenty at 1800 miles. First day riding it ran great in the parking lot and as soon as I got to the cabin at about 7000ft it had no bottom end power at all until I held WOT and at 6800rpm it finally started to pick up. The exhust was getting louder at lower rpm and seemed to have a cracking sound to it. Any Idea's of what might be causing this?

take a look at your raves, might be stuck open or broken, had a buddy with a simialar problem and that was what it was
Check your exhaust y pipe. I am betting the bolts worked out and the gasket blew out. No back pressure, no run good.

Also look for loose Y-pipe bolts or a cracked/broken Y-pipe or ANY leaks in the exhaust. If nothing obvious I would make it the dealers problem.

You can usually find one in an old warehouse somewhere on the weekends in a big city.
Don't forget your pacifier and ecstasy.
edit: look right above your y pipe and you'll be getting close.
Ended up being the TCS (throttle control sensor) wich was holding the raves 50% open all the time. Thanks for all the advise.
