07 xrs 154 track options

Hello there I recently bought a 07 xrs 151 that has a 09 154 track on it. They actually moved the skid back to make fit. There is a pretty good gouge out of track and missing one lug. I don't want to have any problems with a track this winter so I was thinking of a new track for it. I have read about the camo extremes and camo from a 06 rev. I don't want to spend a lot of money I guessing around 500 done. How about a power claw would I have to change drivers. Has to be a good powder track. What do you guys think. Thanks

That's actually not a bad track if you close off the ports with one of the available kits (have it on my '07). I do NOT suggest moving the skid back tho as that changes the balance point of the sled. I used 8" wheels with Smitty's offset axle mounted in reverse so as to take up the slack. Works beautifully. You're fairly limited with track options since you now have the 2.86 pitch drivers and not the 2.52 that was on before.

Have FUN!

What drivers are on your sled??? I would asssume they put 2.86 drivers on for the 154 but you never know, some guys mix drivers and tracks.
The '06 track you are thinking about is a 2.52" pitch, the 154 is a 2.86" pitch. Your stock drivers were 9tooth 2.52" pitch.
