07 RMK 600 rear suspension sag

YO,
so i picked up a 07 rmk 600 off craiglist a while back and thought the suspension had too much sag in the back.

it has walker evans air shocks all around

took it to the mechanic and he said it was fine. but wheni was on the hill the suspension felt even saggier.

like i could lift the back end up 6-8 inches after i get off the sled.

is this ok or is it out of wack?

thanks
conrad

sag

Try setting the blocks as stiff as they go, to keep the back as high as possible, then the running boards wont touch as soon. Is the pressure high enough? ( in the shocks)

Your rear torsion springs are probably sacked out and need replacement. I would highly recommend the .375/47* Polaris springs. They are a little firmer than stock, but still provide a nice ride allowing you to use the light or medium block settings. I re-located my rear swing arm 5/8" back with these springs and have a great ride and very little sag on the lightest setting.

Spring Part Numbers:
7042079-067 Spring, Torsion, LH, STD [.375/47 °]
7042080-067 Spring, Torsion, RH, STD [.375/47 °]

Do you deal with with pre-load blocks in the back with a rear air shock? Does Walker Evans even build a rear air shock? New torsion springs in the back if you are bottoming out the skid all the time. My feelings are that the rear shock is not an air shock.

Thanks for the reply's guys!

the blocks are set to the medium setting.

i walked in the garage and pushed the rear down til it bottomed out with not a lot of effort at all.
sorry for my arrogance but is that normal?

im not sure if the shocks have enough pressure. i figure ill call the shop tomrrow.

Stock springs are junk, ARE YOU LISTENING POLARIS??? Go .375/47* or the .405 fatboys like I did and I'm 190 geared up. Less trenching as well, the less weight you transfer back the less it will dig in and trench.
