switched from a 159 challenger Lt to a 162 of 08 xp and put a 2 wheel kit

sled would run great, got the lug tunnel issue handled.the problem is now on clicker 3 the engine only runs to 7500 from 8400

went to clicker 6 and now 8100.would the track bring it down that much?how much wt should i take out?does not feel like it pulls nearly as hard!
the sled did hang in the garage for a few weeks with tunnel in the air, could the fuel fill the crankcase creating windage?the reason i ask is the plugs were soaking wet with fuel and hadn't ran in weeks.

sled ran and pulled hard until i did this.thanks in advance.

Between the extra couple of lbs and the two wheel kit (which supposedly adds rolling resisitance) you could lose some rpm. Also, the snow has been pretty crazy this winter in WA so when you are comparing the two setups you need to consider the difference in snow quality. Don't think it is gas in your crank case but I suppose stranger things could happen....

Maybe you don't have as much sag in it?

Call Big John at Sled Head Racing. He'll set you up and you'll be running spot-on in no time. Switching that track was the best mod you ever did. I put the Powdermax on my 151 this year and the difference was unbelieveable. Granted, could be all in my head, but it sure felt better!!!!!!!!
