I just bought an 07 800 summit x. I was wondering why everyone says the challenger lite track is a junk track for powder. Is it true that it trenches bad in light snow and why would the stiffer paddles make it do that over flexible paddles. It doesn't make sense to me at all. The track I have has holes in the center and has stiff paddles with ridges going up it on the back side...is that the challenger lite or the powdermax.

Yes, it's true....that track is garbage IMO. I went to a Camo 9941 and it made it an entirely better sled in ALL conditions. It was a joke with that track.
