Maintenance.
Since 2008 there have been 3 updates on clutch wear parts for the tra-7 primary.
The maintenance kit below gives the latest/greatest wear parts. Once installed they take about a ½ tank of petrol of driving to “break in” and start to perform with consistency.
Maintenance kit for drive pulley (buy from local skidoo dealer)
1 spring cover assy, 3 rollers, 1 bushing, 6 slider shoes and o-rings, 1 circlip, 3 cotter pins & lever axles 2008~10, 800PT & Etec

Thanks DJ. I replaced the spring cover assembly about 3 years ago..is this something that needs replaced again? Also, what is the best way to remove/replace the bushing?

Patience! And a punch of sorts that the tip instead of being pointed is a 90 degree. Tap a little on one side move to the next. Eventually it will come out. I turned down a chunk of steel to press mine out. The clip can be stressful also. Dont worry about bending it to get it out. They are cheap and I replace them everytime anyways. Djs site is full of useful info if you have a minute to read.
