?? 07 Rev 800r - Electrical Issues - Please Help!!

I just installed a new 800r stock motor into my rev with an RK Tek head. The first night I completed the motor install I started it 3 times, for short periods of about 1-2 min. each to check for leaks and get the air bubbles out of the antifreeze lines. The last time I shut it down there as a beep from the gauges which word just fine each time I started. The next morning I rolled it outside to get if off the ground and run the track out a couple of times. Low and behold I didn't have any type of electrical power. I checked the 2 fuses that I could find up by the head lights and they were ok. I then took off the mag and stator to see if I had pinched a wire and ground it out. All looked good in that area. I also checked all my plug connections and they were good. Please let me know your thoughts or if anyone has had this same type or similar issue.

Did it seem to run smooth the first few times you started it?

As far as I could tell, there was a lot of condinsation from the head being cold so I/m not sure if that had anything to do with it? I also had too big of main jets in the carbs for my set up, it didn't want to idle too long with out loading up actually died on me once. I fired it right back up and all was still good at a higher RPM.

by no power do you mean: that it wont start and no spark-possible bad stator?
or: runs but no gauges and lights- check relay under left of console above clutches?

there are no lights or gauges, I will check that relay tonight, My dealer has one in stock also. thanks for the heads up! I will let you know how it works out.

The napa part # for that relay is ar143 its 20a. Just had to replace mine,there 10 bucks.

They are 30 bux at the skidoo dealer, my buddy just bought 2. He started his everything was working, hit the reverse button and it died. When he restarted it gauges, lights, handwarmers all gone. Relay fixed it

Yep, had the same thing happen to me last year on my 06 Rev. I took my relay out and took it down to our local Car Quest store to have it checked out, and they said it tested fine. I bought 2 anyway ($10.00 each) and switched it, problem gone. I now carry a spare on my sled, cheap insurance.
