07 Renegade skid in Summit

Before I start taking things apart, just wanted to run this by you guys.

Got a 07 Renegade skid, want to put it in my 06 Summit. Is the front suspension arm of similar length? Will they bolt right up? Any help is appreciated, otherwise I'll find out tnite when I start the swap.

If it means anything, I do have the stock Summit shocks that can be swapped into the Renegade skid if needed.

So the difference is about 3.5" from the stock summit mounting points to the renegade measurements.
This actually works in my favour as I'm planning on cutting the rearward portion of the running boards off and this will let me cut closer to my desired point. Should be on the snow on Thursday!

If anyone has any info, please post it up, anything you've learned could help!

*And I was going toswap my summit front shock with the renegade shock. Looks like the same c-t-c. I'll let ya know!

Mounting Points

There is only about 3/4" difference from the stock Summit skid mounting points to the stock Renegade skid. The rear will need to move straight forward and the front will move up and forward. Not sure where you came up with 3.5", unless someone relocated the skid back.

Stock mount holes on either sled. One is right around 28" and the other is just over 32"
Help me out, skid looks stock, sled has 500 miles on it. Definately mounted 28" apart in the Gade. My stock skid is over 32". I realize I'm putting in a completely different skid, thought Doo would make things easy and keep the measurements close.

I was going to stick with the stock front mounts and move the drop brackets forward to meet the new mounting location. Advice?

Mounting Points

The pictures are of an 07 Summit chassis, with an 05 Renegade skid bolted in. The open holes are the stock locations for the Summit skid. Maybe the newer Renegades had a much different mounting pattern, not sure, but the spacing is 31 7/8" for the Summit and close to the same for the Gade.
(Note: on the second picture, the upper right black spot. is a plastic plug).

Thanx pal, I don't know what to say. The '07 Gade must have been changed? I have a '06 Summit it's going into. I haven't mounted the skid yet but moved my drop brackets forward and will utilize the lower hole up front as I don't have the clearance with the 2.5 to run the upper hole. Hope it works ok, I know a fully coupled skid is always better in the mtns, been that way for years....this is just my cheap version rather than going Timber or Kmod. The M-10 I have for the sled will wait until someone at Fast decides to answer one of my dozen calls and e-mails.
