07 mapping on a rt

Yep. Snowy Range is what,...9-10-11 thousand ft.? You would expect for that elevation that the high altitude map would be better. I think the mid alt. map is working for those further west, closer to sea level.

In the order of the common:

Check your oil pump adjustment/cable. This can cause plug fouling issues on an RT even with the 07 mid/alt map.

As mentioned, you may need the hi/alt map given your altitude. A TPS reset by the dealer if you change your map can also help plug fouling.

Try running the BR8EYA plugs. They seem to be more foul resistant than the BRP rec'd BR8ECS plug.

If you're seeing one particular cylinder fouling and not the other, there may be a throttle body synchronization issue but this is rare.

tried them plugs and fouled them with in a hour of riding didnt have this problem til i had the mid alt mapping done what alt is people runnin the mid alt mapping at? im still rich at 7800 feet too

i had the 07 mid elevation mapping done on my 05 rt and now its running rich and fouling plugs i ride the snowies should have done the high elevation mapping?

With those altitudes you are riding, the 07 high altitude map would be best. I used to have the mid map and was fouling plugs. Changed to the high it ran like a beast. Make sure to check your oil cable adjustment too. You will thank yourself.

just had the high alt done and now and brought it home and pulled bout8 times to get it to start in the garage then shut it off waited bout 2 mins then tried to start it again to see if it was easier and couldnt get it to start now havent took it to ride it to see if it wasnt so rich yet but im at round 5500 feet any ideas what it could be? it ran good before i did the 07 mapping so i think the oil delivery is good could it be the raves? will it hurt my sled to run rich?

That is weird i heard the mid altitude map was the best even at higher elavations Lund on dootalk swears by it I was thinking about it on mine this year but maybe i will wait I just want to ride and it seems to run fine now so i guess we will see when we have enough snow in utah to even ride?

i didnt have the tps reset when i had the mid alt map done think that may have been the problem but my dealer said it was loooking good so not sure but ya i wish i would have just left it alone too having problems now
