07 M8 Hood Insulation

Do I need this I figured it's about 3-4 extra pounds?

Additionally the clips are a problem holding it up all the time.

Take it out, all it does it make it a little quieter and add yep about 3-4 lbs the hood will feel actually quite a bit light without it in there.

get rid of all those screens and clips and put some frog skins on it. Looks cool, and no clips in your clutches!

JUST TOOK MINE OUT 30min AGO, WEIGHT OF CLIPS AND INSULATION IS REALY ONLY 2lb 2.5oz NOT QUITE WHAT WE THOUGHT BUT STILL HELPS,
THE ABILITY TO LOOSE MORE HEAT IS A FAR BETTER HELP THAN THE WEIGHT I THINK.

i'd make sure you put a little heat tape where the stock insulation has tape.
