07 M1000 using antifreeze???

Went for a short ride yesterday and around 40 miles and when I returned I checked the coolant level and the bottle was empty. There is no sign of anything leaking or marks in the snow or on the deck, any idea where it could be going ? After my last ride from last season I noticed the same thing and filled the bottle up to the full line for the summer and it was at the same level before I rode it yesterday.

Only way to know for sure is do a pressure test on the cooling system. Could be a bad head gasket, or it's leaking and you just haven't seen it yet. Unless you did some work and you had an air pocket in the system, which i doubt is the answer.

Remove your spark plugs and see if there are signs of a/f consumption. If you do have a/f consumption the plug and the top of the piston usually cleans up and is obviously different compared to the other cylinder. The other place to look for an external leak is near the starter rope. I have seen a rub mark on the hose that is under the starter rope that will only leak when the motor is warm and the water circulates. Just a couple idea's for you to check. If you still have no luck finding the leak, you'll have to pressurize the cooling system without the motor running to find where the coolant is going. Good luck.
