07 M1000 Skid in King Cat

Anyone know if an 07 M1000 skid will bolt right into my KC in the same holes? The 07 M1000 used the torque link deals like the King. Just need to know if the front/rear bolt spacing is the same.
Chris

You'll need to put some ½" spacers on each side of the front arm to match the tunnel width. Other than that, should bolt right up.

Although I'm pretty sure the '07 did not use the TSL like the King Cat, so you may still have track clearance issues.

Thanks man. I checked before buying it and the Arctic website shows the 07 M1000 as having the links. And this skid def. has them. Completely forgot about the narrower tunnel though.

You're right that the picture on the cat website shows the links, but the parts diagram doesn't, nor does any other picture of an '07 M that I can find.

Can you post a picture of what you've got?

Wow, that is strange. I have it torn down for a Float conversion, but I have pics from before I bought it. Not sure why dude has the link arm on there like that, lol.

The angle on the TSL links looks wrong for one thing. It looks to me like you've got the rear arm from a 1M (or M7, or something like that) with the front arm and rails from an '07 M. Really, it should work just fine that way, but the float conversion is pretty nice.
