07 M1000 Belt?

Should I be running the 46 or 60? Just picked up the sled... stock except for a HPS can... riding 6-10k.

I have had better luck with the 046. I get about 200 more RPM with it and its performs better when the clutches get hot. Its also half the price of an 060.
 
Any downside? Might have to pick up a 46 tomorrow... I'm still running the original 60
 
I used a 46 on my 07 and worked well. But on my 09 the 46 explodes(never made it more than 120miles) and the 60(currently 540 miles, but worn down) last 3x as long. If you run the 3 post with same clutching as 09 I would try both and see what you think. If you add extra motor mounts and vents it will help with clutching and belt life.
 
o46 is the way to go. Like mentioned above it is cheaper and you will get more rpm out of it. my M1200 last year went 1350 miles before it blew a belt and it is only because I was booking a$$ across a lake and it climbed out of the clutch. When an 060 goes it Grenades. On my buddies sled it blew belt right through the plastic of the belly pan...2" hole and another piece right through the side panel. If you decide to go 060 I will sell you some of mine . I think I have 2 or 3 of them never used.

If it's an 07 and it's got an 060 on it, then it's been changed. Maybe the previous owner found it better with the 060?

My dad has an 07 and runs the 046, I've got an 08 and run the 060. I've got 500 kms on mine and he's got about 1000 on his, no problems with either one. If it's working now with a 060 I say stick with it.
