07 M1000..Backup Alarm Stays on

My backup alarm stays on when i take the sled from reverse to forward...and it stays on! It was on almost all day (30ish miles) and then just went off. But anytime i put it in reverse it just stays on. Can i just cut the power to the alarm?

did ya blow a belt and break the switch behind the secondary? but ya pull wires off the alarm...... unless ya wanna be stared at.

haha yeah its really annoying and embarrasing! I did burn some wires on the hood harness, must have missed one when i was fixin them back up. Where is the backup alarm located?

I think it's above one of the footrests.

Exhaust side. In the footwell. Little round black buzzer.

unplug it

pull wire clip out, on right side foot rest and first wire u see in the hole if its like my 08 1000.
