07 Diamond Drive

Was there an issue with the 07 diamond driving leaking? If so was there a fix for it? Also I'm planning on taking apart my dd and going through it. It has quite a few miles on it (5xxx) and I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to put new bearings in it?

Yep, there is an issue with the factory seals. Contact Black Diamond and they can sell you the updated seal kit and oil.

Forget the gasket, pain to clean off next time.

Go to your auto parts store and pick up some Loctite 515 gasket eliminator.
Much easier to clean up and it will not leak, put 5000 miles on my DD using it.

As far as bearing seal kit, may be a wise choice. I planned on replacing the bearings and seal in mine but I sold the sled.

Now I get to buy a new toy.

Make sure when replacing the seals that they are seated correctly I have seen them installed where they were not seated all the way and caused more problems. Yes I would also replace the bearings as many guys on here have had them go out.
