07 D7 reflash revisited

I have an 07 D7 155 bought new. I have not yet had any problems such as plug fouling, etc. so I have been sitting on the reflash and thermostat update for a while now waiting to see if there were definitive opinions on how the reflash worked vs. the non-reflashed set up over a period of time. I am looking for specifics and data from those of you who had the reflash particularly those of you who ride 6000-12000 feet alt. Did it make a difference? Pos/neg. Where in the rpm band was the diff.? What color injectors were on your machine at the time it was reflashed ( I understand diff maps for each color on the reflash) Would you rather have the old mapping before the reflash?

Now I understand the programmer guys will want to chime in and I appreciate that but I am looking for a review of the "no PC/Boon" reflash vs. non-reflash only at this point since the opinions should be more complete now that time has passed.
