I've searched around here and a couple other forums and can't seem to find anyone with the same issue:
Just got an 07 dragon 700 155 a few weeks ago. First day sucked (broken coolant bottle) second day was great and problem free, burnt half a tank but mostly mellow (shooting photos and shuttling snowboarders) and now day 3 was even more fun, deeper snow, some faceshots, lots of fun, getting a feel for the new sled, until the road out... For some reason it started losing electrical power. The little battery meter on the dash had dropped, the dash turned off, I slowly lost engine power and eventually it shut itself off.
I've heard of other dragon owners having similar problems after ingesting a lot of snow through the hood (apparently the seal around the headlights, airbox, and headlight adjuster knob is bad and I plan to silicone those) but their problems are mostly immediate, ie instant bogging down, which makes sense. With my sled, after waiting a few minutes I fired it back up, the "battery" gauge read full, then as I continued down the road (no more powder blasting into the hood) it would drop and drop and after a few km the dash would shut off and again the engine would eventually shut off.
Do I just have the poor seal issues or is this something deeper?
Thanks!
