07 crossfire 1000 lighting and reverse alarm problems

i have a 07 crossfire 1000 and im haveing lighting probs they will come on and stay for awhile then dim and go out,then i can stop sled and restart and wont have any lights and then they pop on there own.i have taillight and gauges and my egt. i can bring rpms to 4000 and the wrench will pop up.any help would be great. thanks


just was checking this thing out again and when head lights work reverse works then i get 4 wrenchs followd by 2

under the hood there should be a chart telling you what the code is. Figure that out first, But I would start disconnecting everything and put it back to stock and see what happens. check all connection and grounds for good contact.

its pretty stock and i dont have any sticker underhood for the codes, ive unhooked everything and rehooked and it is still doing it im thinking maybe that ccu box.

I can't tell you what the code is maybe someone else can chime in, or call a dealer.
list all your mods, and when it started having the problem, the more info you give the better chance you have at getting an answer.

its got the slp pipe set, koso egt,timbersled intake,biles twist spring conversion and bikeman ported cyls. i put it together and started it without hood 1 time. then i got my hood painted and put it all together and i put the egt on and started sled and noticed the prob. i have that ac/dc thing that koso sells, i wired it to the yellow wire down by the recoil i now have it wired to the fuel pump

I cant remember for sure but you may have to have a resistor to start it without a hood without screwing it up it change right in there somewhere, but first figure out the code

Why do you use that? Your sled has dc.

it was with the gauge and the guy had it on a mseries.
