07 800R Summit, Need help figuring out what this plug is for

buddy got a new 10 engine put in his 07 summit / ran it for half a day, Rpm are down 500.
seen the other day that this plug right next to the coolant bottle was unplugged does any one know what this plug is for and if it would have anything to do with his low rpm problem .
Appreciate any help

That's the plug for rubbing a hole in the coolant reservoir.

That is the diagnostic plug. It just plugs into the case.
