07 800r engine light help

so got the sled out of the trailer today to go over everything for the upcoming winter and the engine light was on . it was a steady blinking with no beeping from the beeper what might this steady blink be tring to tell me? i cant seem to find the codes and what they mean.

You can't access the codes without a trip to the dealer to put it on the laptop for diagnosis. Have you done any recent work to it? Temp sensor connector on airbox? Any connectors unplugged?

well i havent done anything to it this summer anyway . i looked for unpluged wires didnt see any . it does have the slp kit . head y pipe air intake. i was wondering since i was at low elavation could i have set the knock sencer off with the high comp. head ? but if that was the case why woulnt it stop blinking after i shut it off and restarted it? i tried that a few times. is there a low coolent senser?

No low coolant sensor, and yeah if it was the KS it would/should reset.

well it never reset so any other ideas ? mighgt just have to take it to the dealer i guess.

Are the gauges and headlight not working? If so, it's the electrical solenoid.

yes everything is working it made a faint beep when i throttled it up headed down the drive way and then the engine light started blinking and now wont stop

step 1: form a fist

step 2: hit the dash of the sled

step 3 (if step 2 doesnt work): hit dash again, then again, ect.

this is the machanical know how of a 17 year old. get pissed and hit shiot ha!!

the wires to the temp sensor just above the airbox on the mag side was not pluged in all the way cleaned it up pluged it back in and light was gone
