quick questions for people who know more about my sled than i do: its an 07 800r.
1: i disconnected and removed my rear light. i am headed out tomorrow to help rescue a friends severely stranded sled. it doesent have a track on it and so far the plan is to remove whats left of the skid, reverse skis and "piggy back" it backwards on my sled. i removed the light so it wouldnbt get broken in this process. i fired up my sled on the trailer and it seems to run fine, it shouldn't go into "limp" mode or anything from removing this light will it? it would be a bummer to get to the trailhead and find out otherwise, as the sled getting rescued is far from a trail and needs to get dragged up some hills that will be pretty exciting to say the least.
2: i found a dpm hose disconnected over by the primary clutch. comes out the top of the dpm and runs over to near the airbox/filter area on the side panel by the clutch. the hose has a broken nipple in it, so i think it should be attached to something. anyone know where this hose should go? i have had some issues intermittently not pulling full rpms on steep hills in deep snow.... maybe getting this guy reattached will help. where should it go? see pics to clarify which hose i am talking about.
