07 800R Big Wheel Kit

I am looking into getting a 2 wheel big wheel kit and really like the look of the polished wheels but have heard that the ice builds up on them bad. So that makes me want to go composite or something. Anybody running metal wheels and what do you think? Ice build up or vibrations?

I have carbon wheels with the rubber not wrecking another track I am intrested in your axel can it take abuse and do you warranty it.
