07 600HO coolant leak

Testing the water for ideas or other experiences on my daughters 07 600 HO. I just purchased it for this season and noticed i was getting a small amount of coolant around one of the cylinder bolts, thought maybe it was a bad o-ring in the head but after closer inspection am pretty confident it is not coming from the head. I then thought maybe it was being pushed up the cylinder bolt due to a bad base gasket or improper install (had low miles on a rebuild when i bought it). I replaced the base gasket and all the o-rings in the head put water back in it and i still get coolant pooling around the cylinder bolt. I can not visually see any cracks or defects in the cylinder but did have someone say he has heard of porosity in cylinders do to poor casting of the cylinder. Looking for ideas or a new cylinder.

leak

I had the same thing going on with my '07. I just tightened the head bolts and the problem went away.

That was one of the first things I did, then replaced O-rings but since then I have discovered there is either a flaw in the casting of the cylinder or a crack(mostlikely) Trying a little JB SteelStik as a temporary repair, so far it has held up to running in the shop but have not been able to test on a actual ride (crappy snow conditions) I will be surprised if it holds but figured it would be worth a try until I can get the cylinder sent off.
