07 1000rt vs 800r xp

I have an oppertunity to buy a new sled ,2007 1000 rt x-package reasonable, brand new o miles with a full factory warrenty ---would this be wise or should i keep my 07 800r or buy a new 09 xp ? Oh yeah ,I love H.P.....
thanks

Go with the XP, hands down. I've had both, and although the RT did have tons of torque it was just too big. The XP is the most nimble sled I've ever ridden and I'm having more fun on it than I ever did on the RT. And the difference in torque between the two is not much, due to the drastic weight difference. Go with the XP, you'll be riding the best.

I'm having an RKT 860 big bore put in right now. When it's done it will be pushing 180 horsies compared to the RT's 171. Yes, you could put a big bore in the RT and get even more power, but the XP is so much lighter and so nimble. If you're having a hard time deciding just test ride both. I'm sure plenty of guys would let you put a few climbs on their sleds. If you're from Colorado you can put a few climbs on mine.

x2

Ive owned both, as well as an 07 800. Hands down buy an xp. The RTs feel like they have a tonne of power........but I guarantee you ride one and an xp back to back and you wont even think about the rt. Plus, too many bugs in the RT to be worth messing with. Ive seen too many guys throw tonnes of money into theirs and not see much of a gain.

My stock +can XP would spank my friends modded RT(lots of light weight parts team clutch can etc.) I have seen brand new RT as low as 5500.00 what kind of price are they asking?
