06m7 4inch rise

Do I need throttle and brake extensions for it to fit?

yes i do belive you do i think that you can go with a 3 inch riser and get away with out the extensions.

I'm not sure if there the same but on my 07 m1000 I re routed the throttle cable from the left side of the engine to the right side giving it plenty of length. and the brake line I just unhooked the plastic clip by the caliper so the line is straighter. Everyone told me a 4 wouldn't fit but I ran a 4 all last year with the same brake line and throttle cable.

X2 i have a 4" riser on my 07 M8, rerouted cable lots of room.

Your good to go with the 4 in riser....I ride an 06 m7 with a 4 in riser...put 4 or 5 of them on with no cables issues
