06 SwitchBack / RMK Vents?

Hello, all. I bought this sled literally brand new this past April. I'm putting the SLP Hot air eliminators in it, but don't like the look of the rear vents. So, either I'd like them anodized black or replace them with something a little more factory-looking. I saw a set that looked really nice, they appeared smaller than the SLP ones, but I'll be damned if I remember who made them! Who all makes rear vents for these sleds? If I just anodize mine, where do I get the material from, frogskinz?

Holz has a set that looks like the factory honeycomb design. Carl's performance used to sell them. I have a set on mine.

I really like the Holz ones, but will they work for an 06? Looks like they would replace the itty-bitty mini storage compartment?

Don't think the ones you are looking at would work on an 06. You would have to use this style of vent.

The little box that goes there is pretty much worthless. Anything you put in it gets wet if you are riding in powder.

Timbersled used to have these, but I don't think they even make them anymore.

The Mountain-Fit ones are pretty cool. Will that be enough to eliminate hot air along with the SLP front vents?

personally, the SLP ones dont get enough air...i like the FNI (fire n ice) or MF (mountain fit hoods) vents, or even 2 cool vents...

but Bill at mountain fit hoods is a great guy, has the best prices you will find, and his vents FLOW air...i have pretty much every vent he makes on my sleds...and never been happier
