06 Switchback 900 dies at 135 degrees

The machine runs great untill it hits 135 degrees, soon as you let off the gas the check engine light flashes. (not sure how many times cause the engine dies right away) thought is was the base gasket because I found a leak. Took out the engine, replaced the gasket (what a job that was) and the problem continues. Brought the machine to my local dealer, they put it on the computer and the code reads "bad mag side injector connection" or something close to that wording. They told me to remove the seat and gas tank and check my electrical connections. I did that and everything looks ok. Took the machine back out and it ran great for 20 mins, then the check engine light came on again and died. Personally from what I read on this website, I think it's the stator, but don' t know if I can test It while it is in the machine. Don't want to take it back to the dealer...sounds like they don't even want to work on it! Any help to get me back ridin would be appreciated.

It's pretty bad when I can get better info from this website and you guys on my machine then I can get from my dealer! Thanks for the input. Stator is on the way...Keep you posted.

check det sensor. and as far as checking the stator yes you should be able to check it in sled I would say call the dealer and ask them what the voltage should be or just start replaceing parts one at a time. but for sure that sounds like a stator works good untile it gets warm

Everything seems to be good now. It turns out it was the stator and the dealership still does not believe me. Guess I will keep doing my own work from now on. Normally I wouln't even takle this on my own, but reading everyones problems with their machines helped me out. Thanks for everones input, i'm gone riding!
