My steering u-joint is seized. I've seen some suggestions to replace the joint with a Borgeson/Flaming River/Sweet Manufacturing sealed needle bearing type u-joint. Has anyone done this? I've noticed the shafts are hollow. I know enough machinists that can help me out, but is this type of modification worth it? My sled is in a lot of pieces right now, I think anything bigger than the block and pin joint that is factory may have interference issues with the coolant lines.
