06 RMK 700 Engine Rebuild

Last year I blew my PTO bearing in Montana on my 06 RMK 700, 144. Found after afterwards this was a common problem with these sleds amongst other problems. This fall I started to order new parts, I ordered a brand new case, new updated crank shaft that actually is for the 900 RMK, weisco pistons and sent in jugs to be re-plated to factory size. after putting the engine back together to factory specs and lots off new little parts here and there I noticed that while removal of the engine thatl 3 of the fuel injector wires actually just pulled out of the plug that goes into the ECU. Now I was able to find out from my shop manual that there are only 2 wires, a pos and a black/Neg for each of the injectors from the ECU to the injector. I know which injector bundle of wires go to bundle from the ECU because they are all labbeld but as far as a positive and neg does it matter which way I was to hook up the injector? Does polarity matter for a injector? I hooked up a 6V battery to each of the injector wires, and no matter which combination you charge the wires, pos/ neg/ neg/ pos, you can hear the injector open and close. put a ohm meter and once again, I got 12.5 ohms from each of the injectors no matter which wire I used as the hot wire. does anyone know if it matters?

Have you talked to any of the dealer mechanics? Are you close to a dealer (marquette?) or worked with one? I am still fairly new to the UP so not sure myself if they would be any help.

havnt talked to a mechanic yet, Had a bad interaction with the Polaris dealer in Marquette and Houghton.. Its part of the reason I think the sled blew up in the first place. I was going to call Munisings dealer tomorrow, but was hoping someone may have experienced this in the past.

So you say 3 of 4 connectors pulled out? (wires) Can you just compare to the one that didn't get yanked out? I would say the polarity makes a difference as these things are switched to ground through the ECU. Can't speak to the 4 injector system, but I have an '05 2 injector (900) & they go as follows: MAG red/blue-inj. power(from ecu), yellow (ecu ground). PTO red/blue-inj. power(from ecu), green (ecu ground). Hope this points you in the right direction!
