06 M7, what is this?

I bought a used 2006 M7 and can't figure out what this electronics box does. It has one wire that goes to to ground, and then a bundle of wires that goes to the injectors. I can't seem to find it in any of the parts drawings.

Anyone know what this is for?

It is not an oem part it must be something to regulate fuel deliveries (like a Boondocker box)?
