06 M7 track tension

Can anyone out there tell me what the tension of my track should be? When I was looking at it the other day (with the sled up in the air) it seems loose. Thanks in advance.

ive got an 05 m7. You will want yours around 1-2in in the middle of the skid. If you have a relocation bracket you can get away with a little more but be careful. I was running mine to loose one day and started ratcheting.......its not fun. hope this helps.

I run my '05 M7 162 at 2.5" sag with no weight on the track. Have the Holz relocation bracket. Also run anti-stab rollers which I would strongly suggest if you run the looser 2 -3" sag.

06 M7 with Holz bracket and anti stab kit. I run mine about 2" of sag at the middle of the rails, no downward pressure. Had it at about 3" of sag but tightened it up a hair, wasn't ratcheting @ 3" but figured a little tighter wouldn't hurt....

I run mine at 2.25 with track of the ground. Changed my slides this year with 1250 miles on the sled, factory slides and they were not even half used up. Have not had any problems with ratcheting at all.
